Sound Over The Rainbow ging erstmalig am 20.November 2005 auf Sendung.

Wir möchten unseren Hörern eine Plattform der Kommunikation anbieten, die aus Informationen, Spaß und Unterhaltung besteht.

Sound Over The Rainbow ist nicht kommerziell, politisch und weltanschaulich nicht gebunden.

Die Moderatoren bei Sound Over The Rainbow machen in Ihrer Freizeit Radio aus Spaß und Idealismus.

Kommentieren, Aufklären und Informieren sind die Ziele von Sound Over The Rainbow.
Das heißt wir berichten über Ereignisse, Themen die homosexuelle so wie auch heterosexuelle interessieren könnten. Wir schauen über den Tellerrand hinaus.

Sound Over The Rainbow versucht auch Berührungsängste, Vorurteile gegenüber homosexuellen abzubauen, da das Radioprogramm auch für heterosexuelle ausgelegt wird. Dadurch versuchen wir mehr Toleranz untereinander zu entwickeln.
