Erwartungen

Ich dachte immer,
dass ich nichts von Menschen
erwartet habe in meinem Leben.
Dabei habe ich so viel erwartet.

Ich habe erwartet,
dass sie mich mit Respekt behandeln.
Dass sie ehrlich zu mir sind.
Dass sie sehen, wer ich bin.

Ich habe erwartet,
dass sie ihr Verhalten verändern,
wenn ich ihnen meinen Schmerz zeige,
der durch ihr Verhalten ausgelöst wurde.

Ich habe erwartet,
dass sie Veränderungen in mir sehen,
wie ich sie gesehen habe.

Ich habe erwartet,
dass ich sie begeistern kann.
Dass sie sich mit mir freuen.
Dass sie sich auch weiterentwickeln wollen.
Und dass sie mich verstehen.

Ich habe erwartet,
dass Menschen meine Grenzen akzeptieren.
Dass sie mir helfen,
wie ich ihnen geholfen habe.
Dass ich etwas zurückbekomme,
weil ich so viel gegeben habe.

Ich habe Dankbarkeit erwartet,
wenn ich Menschen geholfen habe.
Ich habe erwartet,
dass sie nach Lösungen suchen,
wenn sie mir ihre Probleme erzählt haben.

Ich habe noch so viel mehr erwartet.

Dabei habe ich vollkommen vergessen,
dass es nur Erwartungen waren.
Ich habe dabei vergessen,
dass ich mich selbst mit Respekt behandeln muss.
Dass ich selbst ehrlich zu mir sein muss.

Ich habe dabei vergessen,
dass nur ich selbst sehen kann
wer ich bin,
wenn ich genau hinschaue.
Und dass nur ich selbst
mich verändern kann,
wenn ich genau hinschaue
und den Schmerz bearbeite.

Ich habe vollkommen vergessen,
dass ich für meine persönliche Weiterentwicklung selbst verantwortlich bin.
Dass ich mich über mich selbst freuen muss,
über all das was ich schon geschafft habe.
Und dass ich selbst für meine Grenzen verantwortlich bin.

Weil ich so viel von anderen erwartet habe,
habe ich mich selbst dabei vollkommen vergessen.
Ich habe mich selbst immer mehr verloren.
Ich habe all die Verantwortung,
die ich für mich selbst tragen muss,
in fremde Hände gegeben.

Und dann war ich oft verzweifelt.
In dieser Verzweiflung dachte ich manches Mal sogar,
dass Menschen Scheiße sind.
Ich habe nicht zu Ende gedacht.

Denn die Menschen waren Scheiße zu mir,
weil ich es zugelassen habe.
Durch meine fehlende Selbstfürsorge, Selbstliebe und die Sehnsucht nach Bestätigung.

Ich habe so viel zugelassen,
weil ich von anderen erwartet habe,
was ich mir selbst geben muss.

Endlich habe ich all das gefunden.
Das hat alles verändert.
