Die Männer und Frauen, die für die Bundesregierung zu einem wachsenden Problem werden, heißen Martin, Fared, Daniela, Oguz, Josephine oder Dirk. Sie sind Anhänger der Terrormiliz "Islamischer Staat" (IS), befinden sich aktuell in Nordsyrien, dem Irak und in der Türkei in Gefangenschaft und besitzen die deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft. Sie waren in den vergangenen Jahren aus Deutschland in das selbst ernannte "Kalifat" der IS-Dschihadisten ausgereist. Manche sollen an brutalsten Verbrechen beteiligt gewesen sein.

Im Referat 511 des Auswärtigen Amtes - zuständig für die sogenannte "Nothilfe für Deutsche im Ausland" - wird seit einiger Zeit eine vertrauliche Liste geführt. Darauf befinden sich die Namen von 63 Männern und Frauen aus Deutschland, die sich derzeit in Syrien, dem Irak, der Türkei und Griechenland in Haft befinden, 42 von ihnen besitzen die deutsche Staatsangehörigkeit. Hinzu kommen noch Dutzende Kinder, die teilweise in der Region geboren wurden.

Ein brisantes und schwieriges Thema.
