Begründung
Die Berliner Feuerwehr steht kurz vor der Handlungsunfähigkeit im Regeleinsatzdienst der Brandbekämpfung und technischen Hilfeleistung, aber auch im Katastrophenschutz droht der totale Zusammenbruch.
Die Sicherheit der Stadt Berlin und aller Bürgerinnen und Bürger ist massiv gefährdet. Ohne adäquate Fahrzeugtechnik wird Ehrenamt zerstört und Menschenleben riskiert!
Für die tägliche Gefahrenabwehr müssen die Berlinerinnen und Berliner mit erheblicher Einschränkung in der Hilfeleistung rechnen. Die Einhaltung der Schutzziele ist für die Berliner Feuerwehr nicht mehr möglich!
Für den Katastrophenschutz im Land Berlin sieht die Situation mindestens gleichwertig dramatisch aus.
Wir erwarten dass der Senat seiner Verantwortung nachkommt und der Berliner Feuerwehr die nötigen Mittel zur Gefahrenabwehr - ausreichende moderne Fahrzeuge für den Regeleinsatzdienst und für den Katastrophenschutz, bereitstellt!
Der Landesfeuerwehrverband Berlin fordert daher die Abgeordneten und alle anderen gewählten politischen Vertreter unserer Stadt auf, sich Ihrer Verantwortung zu stellen und umgehend zum Wohle der Berlinerinnen und Berliner zu handeln!
