was ist es was mich durch den Regen treibt
was mich glauben lässt dass nach dem Regen niemals Sonne bleibt?

was ist es was mir die Luft zum Atmen nimmt,
was mir zeigt, dass irgendetwas gerade garnicht stimmt..

was ist es was mir die Worte raubt..
was dazu führt dass ein Mensch nicht mehr an meine Worte glaubt..

was ist es was mir die Welt nur noch verschwommen zeigt..
wodurch sich jeder Tag viel zu schnell dem Abend neigt..

was ist es was mir einen Tränenschleier vor die Augen legt..
was meine Tränen meine Wangen hinunter bewegt..

was ist es was meine Schritte müde werden lässt..
wodurch die Kraft meine Beine verlässt..

was ist es was mir die Freude aus dem Herzen reisst..
was sich durch jede Faser meines Herzens beisst..

was ist es was meine Stimme leiser zu klingen vermag..
was mir die Kraft nimmt die immer in meiner Stimme lag..

was ist es was mir die Sicht nach morgen versperrt..
was mir die künftigen Tage aus dem Blickfeld zerrt..

Wer kann mir sagen was es ist..
wodurch man selbst den Schmerz vermisst..

Ist es Hass, ist es Liebe?
oder sind es gar zwei gemeinsame Diebe?

Die den Menschen ihre Hoffnung stehlen..
soviele Menschen, denen Zuversicht und Hoffnung fehlen..

Ich kann euch sagen, es ist die Liebe..
doch es ist auch die Liebe durch die ich irgendwann dann wieder fliege..

noch viel höher als je zuvor..
denn ich höre schon eine Stimme an meinem Ohr..

die mich davon abhält die Hoffnung aufzugeben...
viel zu schön ist doch dieses Leben..
