Sie sind wieder da: In neuem Gewand und unter dem Namen „Wir sind das Volk“ rufen Rechtspopulisten und Rechtsextremisten zu einer nationalistischen und fremdenfeindlichen Kundgebung am 10. März in Odenkirchen auf.
Das Bündnis „Mönchengladbach stellt sich quer“ (MSSQ) wird erneut nicht dulden, dass selbsternannte 'Verteidiger des Abendlandes', angeblich 'besorgte Bürger' und gewaltbereite Hooligans in Mönchengladbach ihren Hass gegen Fremde ohne Gegenworte verbreiten können. Wer Seite an Seite mit offensichtlichen Rechtsradikalen, fremdenfeindlichen Populisten und gewaltbereiten Hooligans läuft und dabei zur volksverhetzenden Stimmung gegen Geflüchtete und Menschen anderen Glaubens beiträgt, darf sich über unseren Widerstand nicht wundern. Wir stehen ein für ein nazifreies, offenes, tolerantes, buntes, menschenfreundliches Mönchengladbach – auch in Odenkirchen! Und wir stehen ein gegen Menschenfeindlichkeit, Rechtspopulismus, Rechtsextremismus und Hetze gegen Geflüchtete - jedes verdammte Mal.
