Gestern auf arte kam eine interessante Doku über Judith Butler, die auch bei Youtube zu finden ist.

Interessant finde ich ihre Reaktion auf die Frage nach gleichgeschlechtlicher Heirat. Singemäß: Wieso eigentlich Heirat zwischen 2 Personen? Warum nicht 3 oder 4?
Bedingt durch meinen Freundeskreis habe ich mich mit Polyamorie beschäftigt und ja, ich finde, sie hat Recht, wieso sollen eigentlich nur 2 Menschen heiraten können?
Judith Butler ist insoweit wahnsinnig spannend, als dass man sich an ihr an so vielen gesellschaftlichen, sozialen, politischen und gender-Fragen abarbeiten kann. Leider bin ich noch nicht dazu gekommen, ihre Bücher zu lesen (shame on me) - aber seit ich letztes Semester ein Seminar über Männlichkeit und Weiblichkeit im Theater besucht habe, beschäftige ich mich mehr mit Genderfragen und Butlers "Gender Trouble" ist ganz oben auf meiner Leseliste.
