Prozessor im Laptop: Kann mir irgendwer ein paar grundlegende Fragen beantworten?

1. Kann ich die Taktfrequenz von 1,46 GHz auf etwa 2GHz erhöhen?
2. Wie sieht die Grundlegende Leistung des Dual Core insgesamt aus? (sind ja 2 Prozessoren mit 1,46GHz Taktung, aber ich schätze mal, dass die Parallel laufen, also die Geamtleistung sich nicht erhöht)

Wäre echt dankbar für Antworten, meine lahme Rechnermöhre macht mich irre...
