Der japanische Wissenschaftler Dr. Masaru Emoto hat gezeigt, dass sich die Qualität von Wasser verändert, wenn es durch Musik, Gedanken oder Worte beeinflusst wird. Seine Idee war, Wasser über Nacht in Flaschen abzufüllen, auf die er Worte wie „Liebe“, „Hass“ oder „Dankbarkeit“ schrieb. Anschließend fotografierte er Kristalle, die aus diesem Wasser gewonnen wurden. Je nachdem, was auf den Flaschen gestanden hatte, waren die Kristalle entweder sehr ebenmäßig und ästhetisch (bei Worten mit positiver Bedeutung) oder verkümmert und teilweise oder ganz amorph (bei Worten mit negativer Bedeutung). Der menschliche Körper besteht zu 65 Prozent aus Wasser, das ebenfalls auf gedankliche Energie reagiert. Je nachdem, welche Botschaften wir empfangen, formt sich auch unser Aussehen und unsere Gesundheit.
Wenn wir glücklich verliebt sind oder wenn Menschen uns sagen „Du siehst gut aus!“ strahlen wir gleich noch mehr. Und auch die umgekehrte Erfahrung hat jeder wohl schon gemacht. Am meisten beeinflusst uns aber vermutlich, was wir zu uns sagen, in dem ständigen Gedankenfluss, der die meisten Menschen zumindest in der westlichen Zivilisation begleitet.
