Hallo...

jetzt habe ich doch mal eine Frage, auf die sich hier vielleicht eine Antwort finden lässt.

Zur Zeit nutze ich iWeb zum Erstellen meiner HP. Online befindet sich das Ganze über meinen MobileMe Account. Da dieser jedoch unabänderlich mit meinem Vor- und Nachnamen in der MobileMe Net-Adresse verbunden ist, suche ich nun einen privatdatenneutralen Weg, die Seite ins Netz zu bringen.

D.h. ich will eine Domain, auf die ich über iWeb meine HP online stellen kann. Möglichst günstig, da die Seite ein reines Hobby ist und nicht dem Erwirtschaften von Geld dient.

Es soll kein Anbieter-Baukasten zum Erstellen der Seite verwendet werden müssen!

Das Angebot im Netz erschlägt mich gerade und da ich außerdem zugeben muss, bis jetzt keine Ahnung vom Hosten einer Site zu haben, kann ich auch mit einem Großteil der Begriffe (die als Vorteil mancher Anbieter herausgestellt werden) nichts anfangen.

Also: Kann mir eine einen Anbieter empfehlen? Gibt es bestimmte Dinge, auf die ich unbedingt achten muss?

Sonstige Tipps aus dem Bereich werden auch gerne angenommen - aller Anfang ist irgendwie schwer.
