Die DVD wurde nur einmal angeschaut, befindet sich also in einwandfreiem, neuwertigen Zustand.

Tel Aviv - das ist die heißeste Stadt für Lesben und Schwule am Mittelmeer. Tel Aviv, das bedeutet Lebenslust, Party, Sex, aber auch Alltag, Politik und Bedrohung. 16 schwule und lesbische Filmemacher berichten uns vom aufregenden Leben und Lieben in dieser Stadt. Wie schon bei "fucking different" wurden lesbische Filmemacherinnen aufgefordert, ihre Vorstellungen und Beobachtungen zur schwulen Erotik und Sexualität zum Thema zu machen, wie auch umgekehrt schwule Filmemacher gebeten wurden, sich mit dem lesbischen Leben in der israelischen Metropole zu beschäftigen. Alle Themen, Genres und Erzählformen waren erlaubt, allein Länge und Filmformat waren vorgegeben.

Herausgekommen ist dabei eine Mischung aus Dokumentar-, Experimental- und inszenierten Filmen zu einem breiten und ausgesprochen unterhaltsamen Themenspektrum. Das könnte leicht zu einer einzigen Aneinanderreihung von Klischees, Vorurteilen und stereotypen Beschreibungen führen, doch die Produktionen der Filmemacher vermeiden diese Gefahr von Anfang an. Geistreich, schlau und ausgesprochen sexy, bieten die Filme dieser Kompilation außergewöhnliche Eindrücke von der weiblichen und männlichen Sexualität und Erotik.
