In dem Videoprojekt sollen mit Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen, die von Essstörungen betroffen sind, gemeinsam eine 45-minütige Dokumentation und mehrere kürzere Filme über ihre Auseinandersetzung mit der Erkrankung gedreht werden. Hierfür werden die TeilnehmerInnen mit der Kamera in ihrem Alltag begleitet und porträtiert. Die TeilnehmerInnen bestimmen in allen Teilen der Filmproduktion mit.

 Für das Videoprojekt über Essstörungen sucht das Medienprojekt Wuppertal betroffene Mädchen im Alter von 13 bis 25 Jahren.
Insbesondere werden junge Frauen gesucht, die Erfahrungen mit der Bewegung Pro Ana oder Pro Mia gemacht haben oder dieser immernoch angehören.

 Ziel des Filmprojektes ist es, Zuschauer für das Thema zu sensibilisieren und Verständnis für Betroffene und Angehörige zu erzeugen. Es soll zudem eine Plattform geschaffen werden, um über persönliche Ängste, Nöte und Hoffnungen zu berichten und über ein Tabuthema aufzuklären.
