Es war einmal eine Lady die hatte einen Traum -
jeden Tag hielt sie den Funken Namens Hoffnung!

Doch man glaubte es kaum -
sie lebte nur in der Erinnerung...

Doch dann kam das hier und jetzt
und der Schmerz der Realität traf sie wie ein Pfeil ins Herz!

Ihre Hoffnung war das sie nie jemand wieder verletzt!
Doch in ihr wohnte er - dieser tiefe unendliche Schmerz!

Doch dann lernte sie Zärtlichkeit und Geborgenheit kennen!
Und da spürte sie es wieder - schlagen ihr Herz!
Doch sie schwor sich - sie würde sich nie wieder verrennen!

Und da kam ihr ein Gedanke - tief in ihren Innern!
Sie begann wieder zu hoffen -
und konnte sich erinnern!
Es machte sie aber auch ein Stück weit betroffen!

Sie fand des Rätsels Lösung - und sie nahm es wahr-
das es nur einen Weg gibt!

Auf einmal wurde es ihr klar -
das man vergibt!

Zu leben im hier und jetzt -
ist es das was die Seele nie mehr verletzt?

Sie fragte sich ist Liebe nichts als eine Illusion -
in dieser Welt der Oberflächlichkeit...

Sie dachte ihr Herz wäre schon erforen
doch dann spürte sie ihre Verletzlichkeit!

Und sie merkte es ist die Liebe zu sich und anderen die sie aufrecht erhält!
Nicht das Geld dieser Welt!

Und da kam ihr dieser Drsch.... ;-) diese Klarheit!
Es gibt kein glückliches Ende - denn es endet nichts -
und das ist die Wahrheit!

Sie fing an im hier und jetzt zu leben -
sich selbst zu achten und zu lieben!
Liebe ist geben und nehmen -
und da war ihr genommen dieses sehnen!

Sie war einzig und allein und spürte ihre Seele tief!
Sie fühlte sich frei!
Und wußte das sie sich ab nun nie mehr verlief...
Und wenn ihr etwas weh tat - wurde ihr bewußt halt es nicht zurück und - schrei!

Nun wußte sie was Liebe ist!
Sich selbst zu achten da mußte sie anfangen...
Dieses Gefühl das man nie vergißt -
und nun war es gestillt - dieses ewige Verlangen!

Diese Lady bin ich...
