Folgende etwas seltsame Situation ist mir heute passiert:
Jemand fragt mich was "Sichelzellenanämie" für eine Krankheit sei.
Ich antwortete "Das ist eine genetisch bedingte Fehlbildung der Erythrozyten, die nur bei dunkelhäutigen afrikanisch stämmigen Menschen auftritt" (im Übrigen weil sie a : mit dem Gen für schwarze Hautfarbe verbandelt ist und b.weil sie nur in Afrika neben ihren Nachteilen auch Vorteile hat, weil Sichelzellen-Erys nicht von Malariaerregern befallen werden können).
Na jedenfalls entstand daraus die Diskussion ob man denn Forschung betreiben dürfe, die dieses oder anderes mit "Menschenrassen" zu tun habe.. Oder ob man so tun sollte als sei das nicht so (und jedes Kind auf Sichelzellen testen lassen obwohl es siegar nicht haben kann) oder wie man verhindern kann das aus solcher Forschung wieder sowas wir im 3.Reich werden kann.
Könnt ihr euch vorstellen "Equality, Liberty Fraternity" als eine Art Axiom des menschlichen Seins anzunehmen um dann mit diesem Hintergrund o.G Fragen nicht mehr klären oder diskutieren zum müssen ? Man könnte alle Forschung am Menschen betreiben und alle natürlichen Ergebnisse erzielen die man möchte/findet, weil man als Grundannahme hätte das alle Menschen gleich (im Sinne von "equal" ) , frei und Schwestern und Brüder von uns sind. ???
