Wir haben in der Schule einmal eine Geschichte mit dem Titel "Das Ringsingen zu Goldberg" gelesen. Ich fand sie wunderbar. Selten hat mich etwas so berührt. Ich habe noch einige Motive in Erinnerung. Die Schulzeit liegt aber schon weit zurück. Ich habe diese Geschichte jetzt gesucht im Internet. Ich konnte nur den Titel eingeben, weil ich den Autor nicht mehr weiß. Kann mir jemand helfen? Kennt jemand die Geschichte und den Autor? Ich möchte sie wiederlesen.
Es ging darin um die Pest in Goldberg. Die Krankheit nimmt verheerende Ausmaße an. Immer wieder sieht man den Leichenkarren fahren. Das Dorf wird menschenleer. Einer ist verbarrikadiert übrig geblieben. Der wagt sich schließlich heraus aus seinem Haus. Nichts rührt sich. Er geht zum Dorfmittelpunkt, zum Brunnen, setzt sich hin, weint. Nach langer Zeit kommt aus einer Gasse ein Mensch, langsam, unsicher, und später noch einer. Am Schluss sind sie noch sieben (oder zehn) Überlebende. Es ist eine bittere Freude, die sie sich an den Händen fassen lässt und langsam um den Brunnen tanzen.

Ich hänge noch eine Frage an: Wer kennt schlesische Schriftsteller? Vielleicht ist die Geschichte von einem solchen, der vermutlich noch nich allzu lang tot ist. Angelus Silesius ist zu als. Der hätte solche Sachen nicht geschrieben.
