Dies ist der zweite Teil der Anthologie der Herausgeberin. Man nehme sich in Acht vor weiblichen Wesen, die wunderschön und glitzern anmuten. Es könnte sich hinter der schönen Maske Schrecken und Wahnsinn finden. 15 Autoren widmen sich wieder einmal den Bilder von Künstlerin GABY HYLLA. Auf der Grundlage ihrer 3D Grafiken fußen diese neuen Kurzgeschichten.
Während ALISHA BIONDA auf Mallorca schreibt und sammelt und GABY HYLLA ihre Bilder fertigt, schreiben Autoren kurze Geschichten mit makaberen Inhalten für Fans der Horror und Fantasy Genres.
Wieder einmal liegen hier 15 Storys vor. Hervorheben möchte ich unter anderem gerne „Desmodia“ von TANYA CARPENTER. Eine Geschichte rund um das Thema Dracula und seine weitläufige Familie und den Fluch des Vampirs. Besonders gelungen ist meinem Geschmack nach auch „Shadoir“ von DAVE T. MORGAN. Eine Geschichte über die wahre Bestimmung von Drachen. Teadress treibt sich am Strand rum und ihre Mutter ermahnt sie jedes Mal von neuem vor der schönen Drachenfrau aus dem Wasser. Shadoir Samthaut soll schon viele Opfer gehabt haben, die ihr alle aufgrund ihrer Schönheit ins Verderben gefolgt sind. Statt abgeschreckt zu sein, macht sich Teadress auf die Suche. Eines Tages wird sie fündig und folgt Shadoir. ...Diese Story ist wunderschön geschrieben, beeindruckend und elektrisierend. „Die geliebte des Winters“ von GUIDO KRAIN könnte auch ein russisches Märchen sein. Zumindest hat mich das Ganze irgendwie an Väterchen Frost erinnert. Ich habe da mal so einen Film gesehen. Vielleicht habe ich aber nur die Filmbilder mit der Geschichte in Verbindung gebracht. In der Story geht es um ein Mädchen das überall den Winter mitbringt. Egal wo sie hingeht, sie vertreibt die Wärme und bringt eine weiße Schneedecke mit sich. Gute Idee für eine Geschichte, so was habe ich noch nie gehört. Und gut geschrieben hat GUIDO KRAIN das auch. Alleine für die Story lohnt es sich eigentlich schon das Buch zu kaufen.
Von 15 Kurzgeschichten sind wieder eine handvoll gut, wie beim ersten Band. Genau wie bei „Dark Ladies 1“ sollte man sich überlegen, ob es sich lohnt das Buch zu kaufen.
