Bauer sucht Frau (Österreich):
Beziehungsdrama um "Bauer sucht Frau"-Teilnehmer (cze/kle/ag) - Auf einem österreichischen Bauernhof hat sich am Montag eine Bluttat ereignet: Ein ehemaliger Teilnehmer der österreichischen Ausgabe der TV-Sendung "Bauer sucht Frau" hat zuerst seine Lebensgefährtin umgebracht und dann sich selbst. Am späten Abend fanden die Ermittler einen Abschiedsbrief.

Der 43-jährige Alfred T. tötete laut Polizei seine drei Jahre ältere Lebensgefährtin, die Deutsche Cornelia L., mit einem Messer in der Küche. Anschließend erstach er sich im Heustadel selbst.
Gefunden wurde die Frauenleiche von dem 14-jährigen Sohn des Landwirts aus erster Ehe. Sie wies massive Verletzungen im Bereich des Brustkorbes auf. Der sofort alarmierte Notarzt konnte nichts mehr für die Frau tun. Ein ebenfalls herbeigerufenes Großaufgebot der Polizei durchsuchte den Hof, da sie den mutmaßlichen Täter zu dieser Zeit noch auf freiem Fuß vermutete. Alfred L. wurde schließlich tot auf dem Heuboden gefunden.
Über das konkrete Motiv konnten die Ermittler zunächst nur spekulieren, am Abend fanden sie jedoch in der Hosentasche des Mannes einen Abschiedsbrief. Das Landeskriminalamt wollte sich gegenüber der Austria Presse Agentur (APA) nicht über den Inhalt äußern - aus Rücksicht gegenüber den Angehörigen, insbesondere den hinterbliebenen Kindern von Alfred T. Bekannt ist lediglich, dass die Kriminalisten von einer Beziehungskrise ausgehen. Dass diese aber derart eskalierte, sei für niemanden vorhersehbar gewesen.
Promotion
Der Mann hatte 2005 an der österreichischen Version der Realityshow "Bauer sucht Frau" (in Deutschland bei RTL) teilgenommen. Die Frau, die er nun getötet haben soll, hatte er dabei allerdings nicht kennengelernt. Sie war laut Ermittlern eine Bekanntschaft aus dem Internet.
