Eine seltsame Geschichte! Eine ganz seltsame Stimmung, allerdings in einem sehr ansprechenden Stil. Anfangs denkt man noch, der Titel sei eher sinnbildlich gemeint, bis man nach und nach eingeführt wird, warum die Ich-Erzählerin es durchaus ernst meint. Denn ihr gesamtes Leben ist durch die Beziehung zu ihrer Mutter schon seit frühester Kindheit an durchdrungen.
Ich bin der Typ, der jedem und allem eine Chance gibt, aber bei diesem Buch habe ich doch irgendwann an dem Verstand meiner Romanfigur gezweifelt. Es kommt irgendwie eine Stimmung beim Lesen auf, die die ganze Geschichte sehr zähflüssig macht. Wers mag viel Spaß
