Bei einer Theateraufführung begegnet Nina Althaus, 38jährige West-Berlinerin, unverhofft der mondänen Maria Conti wieder - einer langjährigen Vertrauten aus ihren Kindertagen, die mittlerweile die Achtzig überschritten hat. Maria ist in Begleitung ihrer Nichte, der erfolgreichen Ost-Berliner Schauspielerin Michelle Odebrecht.

Beurteilung von Miriam
Ein grandios geschriebenes Buch, bei dem mir allerdings zu viel Dramatik und Tragik auf einmal versammelt ist. Beide würden für zwei oder sogar drei Bücher reichen, meiner Meinung nach. Da ich mit so komplizierten Personen nicht so viel anfangen kann, bremste das meine Begeisterung natürlich.
