Dieses 1928 erschienene Werk nennt Virginia Woolf bewußt "Eine Biographie". Sie ist eine Huldigung an ihre Freundin, die Schriftstellerin Victoria Sackville-West, von Virginia Woolf zärtlich Vita genannt. " ...Vita soll Orlando sein, ein junger Adliger." "... eine Biographie, die im Jahr 1500 beginnt und bis zum heutigen Tag führt, Orlando genannt: Vita, nur mit einer Umwandlung von einem Geschlecht ins andere."

Weltliteratur. Klassiker. Ein Buch, über das sich schon diverse höchstkarätige Kritiker des langen und des breiten ausgelassen haben.
sehr anspruchsvolles Niveau
Das erste und bisher einzige Buch mit lesbischem Inhalt, das in meinem Regal stehen bleiben darf.

Es ist so ein schönes Buch!
Ich liebe dieses buch (gut ich hba auhc eine schwäche für Bücher von Virginia Woolfe)
Eine Ausergewöhnliche Geschichte von einer ausergewöhnlichen Autorin. Wer mal etwas andres lesen möchte als das übliche dem sei dieses Buch empfohlen- allen andren lege ich dieses buch jedoch ans herz
viel spass beim lesen !!
PS man muss jan icht jedes buch gleich kaufen es gibt ja auch bibliotheken ...
