Jay arbeitet als Redakteurin bei einer Kunstzeitschrift. Nebenan auf dem Flur des Bürohauses zieht eine Ökologiezeitschrift ein. Die Redakteurin heißt Lucy. Lucy hat noch nie zuvor eine Frau geküßt. Jay gehört zu denen, für die "nein" keine Antwort ist. Lucy ist die Königin des "vielleicht". Je heftiger das Liebeswerben, um so häufiger knallen die Champagnerkorken. Wir aber lachen und weinen mit Jay und Lucy um die Wette und finden uns - weißt du noch? - wieder in diesem endgültigen Roman über die unerwiderte Liebe.

Naja, ganz nett für zwischendurch. Aber nichts, was ich jetzt brennend empfehlen müßte.
Kann mich dem hier Gesagten leider auch nur anschließen. Das Buchgeschehen - und die Spannung - plätschern so vor sich hin, ganz nett ist es ja, aber mitreißen kann es nicht. Ich fürchte fast, man könnte auch nach ein paar Seiten einfach aufhören zu lesen und hätte nichts verpasst.
Ich bin gerade fertig geworden mit dem Buch. Also das Buch könnte auch gut in 80 Seiten geschrieben worden sein, der Mittelteil muss jetzt nicht gerade sein....
Fand das Buch ehrlich gesagt auch nicht so toll. Hat einen irgendwie nicht so richtig gepackt.
