Dieses Buch ist ein Liebesbrief. Es erzählt von der Liebe zwischen zwei Frauen, die ihrem Glück nicht trauen. Etwas Großes verbindet die zwei, was sie durchdringt und ihnen zugleich Angst macht. Bevor sie sich darin verlieren können, versuchen sie, sich voneinander zu lösen. Das gelingt ihnen kaum. Weder auf der Reise durch die winterliche Toskana noch auf den Pilgerspuren hoch zur Wallfahrtskirche in Madonna del Sasso, wo sie vor verschlossenen Pforten stehen. Die ersehnte Befreiung bringt ganz unverhofft eine Begegnung in einer Sommernacht. In sprachmächtigen Bildern zeichnet Carmen Bregy die Landschaften der Leidenschaft, in denen sich die Liebenden verlieren. Poetisch beschreibt sie die traurig-unmöglichen Begegnungen voller Zärtlichkeit und Verlangen.

Unglaublich - leider im negativen Sinne. Wie man bzw. hier frau so bescheuert sein kann, über so lange Zeit so hartnäckig-verbissen an einer absolut destruktiven "Liebe" festzuhalten, ist für mit absolut nicht nachvollziehbar.
