Stevie geht ihren Problemen aus dem Weg. Schon lange verdrängt sich, daß ihr Verhältnis mit einem ihrer Lehrer alles andere als die gleichberechtigte Partnerschaft ist, die sie sich so sehr wünscht. Auch ihr Vater sehtzt sie mit seinen Forderungen nach künftiger Karriere unter Druck. Erst als sie die neue Mitschülerin Andrea kennen und lieben lernt, bringt sie den Mut auf, sich all dem zu stellen.

Im Tagebuch-Stil geschrieben, erzählt sich die Geschichte von Stevie, die sich, nach jahrelangem unterdrückt- und mißbraucht-werden enlich selbst zu finden scheint, und erstmals den Mut findet, das zu tun, was sie möchte.
Es war Mein erstes buch in dieser richtung und es ist immer noch eines meiner lielingsbücher das ich immer wieder lese. Ein Buch das sich von andren Büchern für Jugendliche mit dem thema comingout lesbisch sein etc abhebt

das beste buch, das ich je gelesen hab! ich denke, das reicht
Nicht nur ich fand das Buch gut, sondern auch eine heterosexuelle Freundin, wir können immer noch davon schwärmen! Die Geschichte ist wirklich gut geschrieben (was bei Jugendbüchern ja nicht immer so ist) und vor allem das Ende hat es in sich! *g*
