Margaretha Main
Margaretha Main, die elfengleiche Retha, setzt im zweiten Teil der Elfen-Reihe die Beschreibung ihrer Lebensgeschichte fort. Lustig und mit viel Selbstironie durchkreuzt sie alle Unbilden dieser Welt. Sie wird von der ach so schlimmen Pubertät heimgesucht, fährt auf abenteuerliche Weise Ski, repariert ein altes Moped und kommt nicht umhin, heimlich mit dem Ding durch die Nacht zu fahren. Sie fällt im Konfirmandenunterricht auf, feiert die ersten Partys und baut ein Osterfeuer, nach dessen Abbrand sich alle gegenseitig nass schütten.

Beurteilung von Brigitte
Retha wächst und gedeiht und lässt sich niemals unterkriegen. Sie schreibt ihre Geschichte weiter, ohne dass sich jemals das Gefühl einstellt, es könnte langweilig werden. Obwohl sie kleinere Rückschläge in kauf nehmen muss und für ihr „unartiges“ und „aus der Art geschlagenes“ Benehmen teilweise herbe bestraft wird, lässt sie niemals Trübsinn aufkommen. Während andere Mädchen ihres Alters brav in ihrem Kämmerlein hocken, heckt MM lieber Streiche aus und amüsiert sich mit ihrem Moped. Während bei vielen Schülern in der heutigen Zeit kaum Leseinteresse vorzufinden ist, wurde dieses Buch von meinen Schülerinnen eindeutig – wir hatten „Die Elfe im Garten“ schon gelesen – zum nächsten Lesebuch gewählt.
Das etwas andere Lesbenbuch : )

Margaretha Main, Elfen-Reihe
Ich habe beim Lesen sehr viel Spaß gehabt und finde, dass Retha ihre Erlebnisse sehr ansprechend und für jede Frau verständlich beschreibt. So bekommt frau Einblicke in die damalige Zeit und hat obendrein noch viel zu lachen. Gut verknüpft!

Ich kann an den Elfen-Büchern keinen Stilbruch entdecken. Sprache und Wortspielereien gefallen mir sehr gut. Spannend, temporeich, witzig und genial aus dem Leben gegriffen. Ich jedenfalls habe viel gelacht und geschmunzelt.
